Mike and his crew were incredible! Kudos to Mike, Mickey, Brandon and Billy (the whole team really). They went above and beyond to complete our kitchen cabinets and countertop remodel while removing all mold (thank goodness). Mike was always checking in to make sure everything was on task while also keeping us informed every step of the way. The team, especially Mike, was personable, informative and very hard working! Belinda Logan4 March 2026John was the first one that came out to inspect the water damage. He was very helpful and explained the full process from start to finish. When demolation started my contact was Avery. He was very informative at all times. If I had a concern (my 1st claim) or question he would have an answer for me, if not he would find out & call back. He always gave me a heads up text that the crew were on their way & when they would arrive. Avery, Alex and Tony were great to work with. With demolation finished my new contact was Gary. Gary's customer service is spot on. If he was not able to answer when I called, I'd recieved an immediate text followed by a call back "the same day". He kept me up-dated on scheduling and what crew would be out. He explained the next step and the process involved. His communication and willingness to make his customer happy was very assuring in todays time. There was a a small hiccup with the tile. Gary went out of his way to fix and find and then even pick up the additional tile for me. Gary had the problem fixed within a couple of hours. I was very grateful! Tony's drywall & plastering, is outstanding! His workmanship shows his ability & pride in his work. Billy did a great job on getting the cabinets back in, & leveled. Great attidued with the small space he was having to work in. Poncho and his two helpers did a fantastic job on the tile in the bathroom. His team got along great and worked very well together. The Betterway "Team" is fantastic. They are courteous, respectful & hard workers. Most didn't even take any breaks. When done they cleaned up so well you couldn't tell they were there. We got to it shortly after it happened and luckily stopped the water from initially getting into the walls. So we thought. Along come BWS and with their instruments, we’re able to show how some did and got right to work. Fans and dehumidifiers worked their magic and no demo was needed. Appreciate their recommendations for the sink. Looks wonderful. Also used their services to move a gas line. Again the service was so great. Michael even met the inspector. Everything went so smoothly. Kent also offered suggestions for contacts who could assist me with other projects. All of his recommendations were spot on, providing outstanding services. We hired Better Way Services to repair some damage we'd incurred due to hail. The work included redoing the roof and fixing interior water damage. They worked with our insurance company to cover almost all of the cost, which took a lot of pressure off of us. The workers and project manager were very friendly and listened to our concerns. The work was done very quickly and professionally. We did have a few issues, though. First, the communication of timelines was often poor. There were several days when we weren't told ahead of time that someone needed access to the house. There was some work not covered by insurance, and after going through the process, I feel that the pricing was quite high. Something that we could have done ourselves for ~$100 (plus ~12 hours of 1 person work), we were charged over $7000. I expected a max of $4000-5000. We only moved forward with it because we had just gotten very sick and couldn't do it ourselves expediently. Still, they *did* tell us the price beforehand, and we agreed to the cost. There were no surprise costs, as the company was very transparent. The last issue was that we had them remove a window and reframe it for a door, which was installed a week later by another vendor. Despite us giving them the dimensions to frame the door, they made the opening too large. We now have to do some work ourselves to fix this issue. Edit: Better Way has reached out and scheduled someone to return and seal up the opening of the door, which was made too large. This issue was not brought up during our final walkthrough because we didn't know it was wrong until the door installers came a week later. They quickly came out and resolved the problem. I'm thankful to Better Way for promptly reaching out and taking care of the problem.Posted on Google

We had roof work, a door removed and a new one framed, and the ceiling scraped and retextured. All the crews were professional and skilled. I was skeptical and bitter about the process, but boy did BWS prove me wrong! Not only were they hands-on, punctual, delivered on their promises, but the Technicians and contractors from were some of the best I’ve seen! Gary our project manager was constantly in communication and available, he gave me dates and times with advanced notice that always were as he said. Brandon and Kurt were available, followed up and took the initiative to move things along.The plumbers and painters and carpet guys and construction crew (Daniel and his sons) did quality work, The designer Betsy, chose the perfect tile replacements and even the mold hygienist and Richard who helped make sure everything was removed and prepped properly added to a really positive experience. I think this company is family owned and it definitely has that feeling of a community of people that actually care and want to do a good job, which is unfortunately, a lost art these days. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone moving forward and if you’re looking for it to get done right the first time this is who you should go with!Posted on Google

Steven Shimmin9 March 2025Big Time-Little Time.. Wowza, what a great company. They were sent by my homeowners insurance company to look at a restoration project after plumbing issues. Tom gave a good and fair estimate to get the work started and then assigned Gary as the project manager to get the rebuild started. Gary has been great in communicating with me and letting me know the timeline on when and what will be started and completed. Today .Alfred spent 7 1/2 hours here repairing drywall, painting and resetting vanities. Alfred is a machine, what a hard worker and really did a great professional job. Looks great. Now we will wait for the plumber and shower and tile people. After 17 nights at a hotel it is great to be home and having project almost completed so we can unpack and organize.
